What makes u think I’m liein?

 

So a few days back I started the Tacoma and put my foot on the brake pedal, preparatory to putting it in gear.
The pedal went right to the floor
Then I noticed the brake warning light on the dash.
Checked for brake fluid leaks... nothing.
Reservoir is full.

It goes into the shop tomorrow morning.
I'm not screwing around with it (the truck is due for inspection anyway).

So what's your best guess as to the cause of the problem?

My own guess, based on nothing much... is the master cylinder

... Master cylinder only thing makes sense to me.

 

I know the problem, it's 2WD!

Maybe the ABS pump isn't getting power?
Maybe just a wiring thing?
edit: or as simple as a fuse

When I start my truck you can feel the brake pedal tighten up when the ABS pump kicks in - otherwise it feels mushy..

 

I had to do the same…

 

soon...unless them overpayed speculators, are wrong again....
