    I remember that army recruiting commercial "We do more before 6am than most people do all day". That really made me wanta enlist...not. My pup wakes up at sunup, grabs her tennis ball and wants me to throw it for her 200 times. That makes the cat jealous and wanting attention. I just want to call the dog catcher and report them as strays. I'm not good with mornings.

    I've been staying away from DEET repellents, found that citronella, soybean, lemon eucalyptus are effective. There's various brands like Repel, Cutter, Herbal Armor that work. Probably have to apply more often than a DEET repellent. Picaridin repellents are effective.

    The citronella, soybean formulations are dog-friendly, picaridin and DEET, no.
