Well done mowing! But looks like we about to get a little bit of rain so can’t get the weed eating done for now at least.

Hang in there man. The great thing is you're taking care of everything. A lotta guys don't and end up suffering for it.

Sadly, it took my dad's death to force me to understand this. Jesus. I talked to a woman a few weeks ago who lost her husband a month previous. He ignored--and kept from her--some serious digestive issues. He finally broke down and hit the hospital...Stage 4 colon cancer.

He was dead a week later.

That story sound eerily just like my father in law. He never got a colonoscopy, for whatever reason. He got a stage 4 cancer tumor blockage, got a colon resection, then chemo, ostomy, ICU etc, but then lost the battle.

Lol I don’t care about the rain it self as much as I do about the lighting.

One of the oncologists that I talked to over the past week spoke in detail about this. Often, the symptoms start off in a benign way...a cough here, an ache there, an abnormal stool over there. It's almost linear in progression...the build-up is so slow that once it's obvious that something is very wrong...too late.

Yup. I was at a popular hiking spot on Sunday to clear my head. While the rain was refreshing, the lightning was not. Hightailed it out of there.

I saw a helicopter fly right over me as I got to the parking lot. Turned out that a guy got hit by lightning and died on the same trail system.

Damn. sorry man! Hope everything ends up in the end.

I think it was back in 2008 one of my dads brothers had colon cancer. Had surgery at the VA( he was a Vietnam vet) he didn’t take care of him self at all really. Ended up having a hart attack I think and died.
