    Nothing wrong with a prong/pinch collar. People think they are bad when it just startles them. Most the time if you have a dog on one it trains its self not to pull on it, since its instant correction. They really are good TOOL for proper training.

    Met a dude the other day in Lowes, who said he was an AKC trainer and asked why we had a pinch collar on. Then we said our pup is bitey cuz teething and he says bite her back:rolleyes::rolleyes: im like you give us flak for pinch collar then tell us to bite our dog:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: i wanted to tell him stfu

    I have had great danes to chihuahuas. Best dog I ever had was a corgi mini doberman mix. I also hated cats. Now I love cats more than I like dogs.

    That "AKC trainer" is an idiot, who clearly doesn't know it all despite thinkin so..
    Shocker: I have bit my dog back, usually on his ears + I also grab/pinch his scruff/ears with my fingernails to get his attention.. he is a bit daft some times..

    The pinch collar is how you enforce the 'leader of the pack' shit..
    Just like their mama biting them when they are young..

    My prior dog was a jerk on the leash.
    The husband @ dobie house was a K9 for like 10yr - he saw me walkin the prior dog on a harness and told me to get a prong collar; he explained that when you pop the prong collar, it is just like their mama nipping them for being bad - guess what, he was 100% correct.
    The old dog shaped up pretty well after that - took like a week max.
    Used the prong on the current pup and haven't had too many issues - except for dumbasses looking at me like I'm the jerk :jerkoff:
