If you run one over with a tractor trailer, they get caught between the tandem wheels and get thrown up by the front tires and pulled down by the tires behind them bbut can’t fit through so they get ground up till they do fit and get to the ground. All that’s left is the hide.

 

So the wheels act as a meat tenderizer... check

 

I once witnessed that exact thing, close up.
I was behind a semi on the Turnpike in dense fog.
Didn't react quickly enough and ran over the shredded deer too in my Pinto wagon.

When I got off the Turnpike and stopped for gas, I'm like:





Imagine, if you will... deer hair, blood and bits of meat cooking on a hot exhaust.
