TX and Oklahoma are Southern but their own distinct version; they have a distinct disdain for the Federal goberment round there..

Kentucky + Missouri = 100% Southern and got some A+ hillbillies round there..

MD/Deleware are definitely not Southern tho
MD/Penn/Deleware = mid/Atlantic
W Va. declared independence from the Confederacy so they are disowned from the South forever

The West assertion is nonsense; the West = the West Coastal states only
