Got some wood split and stacked ! My back feeling it already

 

Central heat ftw....

 

I gots da hot water baseboard. Fuel oil . Thermostat never set higher than 68* and most of the time the woodstove keeps it between 73-75* .

 

search junk yards, im sure thats a fast moving part, when available

I dug out my brazing goggles for this.
Also my welding hood.

I didn't expect to see much of anything... cuz cloudy
Though it did get strangely dark.
The birds were singing like it was roosting time.

Then I put on the brazing goggles and voila!
I saw right through the thin clouds and backscatter.

Yeah, I seent it pretty good
Looked like a thin crescent moon, but in reverse.
Path of totality was to the west of here.

 

We got fuckin ripped off. Skies were pretty clear till just before the mooning then the clouds rolled in.

 

Meanwhile I keep my house at 63 all winter...

Fuel oil and I'm a cheapass
