Here’s another project I did a while ago. Sand, stained, an polyurethaned . Cherry wood is tough to sand.

 

That looks good! I tried staining one time. Um, that didn't work out too well. Kinda like my painting.

 

What a weird week. Lost my job. Diagnosed with severe alcoholism and will need detox. My dog just jumped out of my truck (combination of being scared by something and me going around a corner). She's OK, but what a scare. Come home, and find that my neighbor's house got an upgrade:

It keeps me busy. I have one thing I've done that I like. And it's ugly af. But for whatever reason, it's my favorite.
My buddy gave me on old cabinet that had been sitting on a friend's porch for many years.
It looked like this and smelled like rotten ass.

Exactly. For the first time in 9 years, I'm seeking help...and I mean it. As for the dog...she will be getting strapped in from now on. My mom, grandma, friends, and random strangers have scolded me in the past about it.
