Well, of course the country is screwed up. Everybody that knows how it should be run is too busy driving a taxi or cutting hair

Just one of the things I don't miss about California It was around 83* and 80+% humidity here yesterday. I went through 3 shirts and 4 sweat towels. Ugh.

 

Crank the A/c to 75 and don’t leave the house and your good to go

 

Due to our financial situation, I've been hoping we could hold off on the AC for as long as possible. Based on last year as an estimate, it runs about $250-$300/month extra to run the AC. Although, that's better than winter. It runs around $400/month extra to run the heat. Almost as bad as PG&E back In California, but our house here is 2X+ the size of the one we had in CA, and we have a 2nd story here, though we never turn on that HVAC unit, since neither of us uses the upstairs for anything.
