    So, due to the large number of Mexican Americans, legal or otherwise, in our fair city, we have a locally owned supermarket that caters to them. They also welcome us gringos if we’re willing to park on the lawn. Anyway, their deli features authentic old Mexican recipes created by an authentic old Mexican. I decided to try one of her popular concoctions. A creamed corn based dip intended to be served hot for tortilla chips. After sampling I’ve determined that the other ingredients are roasted chilies, jalapeños, onions, tomatoes, celery, red fire ants, scorpion stingers, rubbing alcohol and rattlesnake venom. This stuff should require a release of liability waiver. It’s actually pretty good though. o_O
