    I’ve been watching a series on Max called “Expedition Unknown”, hosted by Josh Gates. I guess he’s like a modern day Indiana Jones type archaeologist. Except he’s a complete failure. He never solves the mystery or finds the treasure. But he makes the search pretty interesting…and profitable apparently. The show is in its 13th season. So I guess failing isn’t always a bad thing. :notsure:

    I keep going back to this gif & wondering --

    What happens when someone misses their cue & gets out of sync?

    How easy is it for one person to be going the wrong direction at the wrong time, putting a heel in someone else's eye socket or breaking their nose?

    The chances of this happening are inversely proportional to the grid spacing of the lanyard attachment points...

    We did get out of sync and as I was coming around, my friend’s daughter was coming the wrong direction and we did almost had a collision. Me being a quick thinker while I’m hanging from a bungee strap, I did a tuck and I started spinning and I rolled out of it so we missed each other:D

    I was kinda like the hero here and they were all impressed with my skills :humble::humble::humble::D:D:D

    IDK, hate to be a party pooper but I guesstimate this trendy form of jazzercise may last a couple years at best..

    All it'll take is one or nasty collisions spat out to social media, and/or news reports of hospitalizations, before the club owners jump ship en masse & decomission these low-gravity setups. Liability concerns.

    The only way to mitigate would be to spread out the grid so that it's impossible for anyone to make contact -- but that reduces the room carrying capacity by probably a factor of 4 to 6, making the operation uneconomical..

    You may want to look into PrancerCise if & when the BungeeCise trend comes to an end.

    Oh I can totally see how this will at some point get shut down due to liability reasons. The instructor said we were spaced so we would not collide, but that was not accurate.

    Having said that….. I don’t give a shit, it was sooooo much fun and I’ll do it again!!!:D

    This happened early on and I was very aware of the others after.
