That's good, makes sense too. The flange off the Catalytic was shot and rusted AF, which naturally means it was leaking. The sensor was probably seeing all the extra air thinking it was running lean, thus giving you that lean code. I remember checking the vacuum lines and nothing was leaking, but after taking off the old exhaust and putting on the new one it made sense. Takes a lot to trigger a CEL on an older Toyota; they wanted to make everyone think they were super reliable. I mean, they are, but they weren't doing mechanics any favors with that strategy.
