Didnt realize how bad the company I used to work for fucked me until I started to do my taxes. They only took out a little over a grand for federal the entire year. Never asked them to do that and Ive always claimed 0. State was fine but now I owe almost 2 fucking grand. I know it doesnt need to be paid immediately but I was furious before I calmed down. Really hoping I get news from this apprenticeship soon. Currently living off of doing doordash, my savings, and food stamps so this was a massive blow. Was hoping Id get a refund.

I fully plan on getting an actual job once im on the apprentice list but I need to be available for all the stuff I need to do until I at least get on the apprentice list. No ones been too keen to hire someone who is actively working on doing something else. Once I get on the list I can lie easier and quit whenever.

 

Also my friends that still work there also owe a shit ton. Some are quitting now
