    He dumped his kayak later. Had a fish on and bent over to get it and went over. Lost the rod and reel with the fish on. I tried to help him find it but couldn't even dive to the bottom where he capsized. We loaded up my yak with the shit we could salvage and he made it to the bank to regroup lol.

    My dad lost one and we bought some huge treble hooks and big sinkers and made a few casts and retrieved it. But we got lucky. There's no way of knowing what direction it's facing. Plus, we had no current.
