Factory my '24 SR5 came with 245/70/17's which looked stupid small.



But, it's a lease truck so I said whatever, not my problem. Que the first snow storm I had to drive through. Oh holy shit that was terrible. I almost got stuck in 4WD. No, not happening. $700ish later and going to 265/70/17 much better. I saved the old tires to swap back on at the end, however this truck is a magnet for getting effed up. Between me tweaking the tailgate, the rock chipping on the front bed sides (which warranty was refused and basically said abuse despite many complaints from others) and people at work trying to ding and scratch every panel. Some asshat even managed to gouge the hood! Only option is to trade it off right before the lease ends, pay for damage ($$$$$$$$) on turn in, or buy it out. I trade trucks frequently so I thought this would be an easy way to cycle new trucks. Boy did it all backfire on my ass. Won't be doing that again! Never have I had a truck get so "beat up" so quickly. Don't follow me for financial advice!

 

Oh, completely forgot to say that Academy has the Monarch 9mm 250rd for $50 (.20/rd). Some boxes have the 5 boxes of 50rd, some just have the trays, no boxes… Can’t beat the price for clean range ammo.

Back in the day we'd drive our trucks into mudholes that no vehicle could ever possibly get out of; ruined my first 2 vehicles doing that shit so I stick to paved roads and gravel.
When we take my buddy's jeep to Illinois we dont mind putting it in some precarious shit tho.
