That’s a loaded question… actual First date? First date that actually was successful? Or “First Date”…wink wink…?

Story time…

When I was a wee lad, I asked a girl out on a date. It of course had to be arranged and was set for a future weekend. We would go to a bowling alley and one of my parents would drive. The day came and like any young boy, I was excited and looking forward to it. She was too. As the morning progressed, it began to rain. I called, explained not to worry, we had a van (later, my batchelor ride) and the water was no worry. She expressed concern, but was agreeable. Rain continued. I again said not to worry, but she said it was flooding the neighborhood and thought it best to perhaps reschedule. I was pretty persistent (being first date and all). She eventually had to tell me, look… my house is flooding! It’s gonna be a no. So, my first date never happened… We did eventually go on a date much later, but that’s on me.

You honestly have to thank the guy at the sto… he’s the one who showed me there’s a female section of Hey Dude. That’s the counterpart to the ones that were marked down. I didn’t have to convert the size since ya gave it to me. Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler!

It's funny I was scrolling on an old thread of of the ones I first got onto and realized about this time back in 2017 is when I got on here. Different name at the time but i will say and have said it many times this place creates a family. Will also say In between me having to leave and coming back alot has changed and alot of people gone. But I'm glad that I can still say that I've created a great family here.
