I could say the same about the "seen it sooner"

As a general principal, I feel like as long as you learn a lesson and don't make the same mistake again then cool

 

I went from the one being chased. No job unable to hold it to the one doing the chasing and had several jobs lol

 

After rehab, 3/4 of the way through my 1.5 years of sobriety, I was desperate for anything to fill that gap.

Lagunitas delivered: CBD and THC drinks. As close to beer as I was allowed.

So my friend and I went to our local dispensary and grabbed a sixer each of both choices.

We both drank 3 of both varieties. Six apiece.

I tasted colors that day.

Took a week to recover.

I'm fine now, though.

Morning y'all...

Took the truck in to the shop for repairs yesterday. They rental place gave me an Escape. I don't like it.

 

Why don't you like it?

If I'm not mistaken, the Escape has the same platform as the Maverick.

I was mildly interested when the Maverick first came out.
We hadn't seen a compact truck for many a year.
It was an instant hit, and the base model was advertised at $20k.
Of course, the dealers went nuts with "market adjustments"
Now they've caught up with demand, but the base model is closer to $30k.

 

Some vehicles just suck… I used to have to get a rental for ANY travel I did. Neighbor was the area manager and would give me vehicles for amusement. One time there wasn’t much choice and it was a short trip, parked for a few days and return… I can’t expressly recall the vehicle but my brain says Chevrolet Cobalt. Absolutely awful vehicle. Window to high, no armrest on door or if there was, it wasn’t even useful. Console was far back and whacked you for any interaction with the shifter. Nothing was where you expected. Just all around designed by Monkeys “Trippin’ Balls” at Huddle House…

Rain this morning and supposed to clear out this afternoon. Then 3 nice days until more rain comes back

Story time .
Back around the winter of 1985 2 car loads of us headed out to a bar called Arthur’s Court so anyway my wife’s family is quite large . Her mother having 7 brothers and 7 sisters . One uncle who is actually younger than her . I was fairly new to the area and became friends with 3 of the uncles. Couple of the uncles were with us at this bar and kept telling me how their niece ( who had tagged along with her girlfriends) had a crush on me ( she is the same age as me ) and I should ask her to dance . Nope ,not me ,I do not dance unless I’m drunk . So I started doing shots and eventually danced with her . When it was time to leave everyone who was with us got in the cars we came in but left it so my future wife and I would have to sit next to each other even though we came in different vehicles. As we are walking down the snow laden sidewalk one of the cars with all the guys in it drives by and yells “ give her a kiss” . I was kind of a few steps behind so in my mind I decided I would run up behind her scoop her up in my arms and kiss her . Yup ,ran up to her ,plowed right into her and knocked her down flat on her back in a snow bank . Some how after that she agreed to a date . Our first date was to the movies to see The Breakfast Club Now married 38 years . 2 kids 37 and 35 and we are going to be grandparents finally in August

I had a couple bettas as a teen, but never a tank this nice or big. It’s a 5 gallon tank with filter and light. The GF and I got these guys, Hers is skittles and mine is starburst.
