Just in case everyone thinks I fell off the face of the earth, well I haven't. Just been a little busy with a new purchase that I made on June 6th. Nope it has nothing to do with D-day. And just so none of you spends any time trying to think of what I've done, I'll just spill the beans. Here are three photo's of my new best friend. He's a little over 3 months old, and he's a Chihuahua/Terrier mix. And what a handful he is. I told my brother that since we are both hard of hearing and not getting any younger, we should get another dog. I was surfing a local web site here called Dan Nicolas Neighbors, and someone had a pic of this dog, wanting a $50.00 re-homing fee. Several people wanted to see him on the upcoming weekend, so I jumped ahead and went to see him on Friday, and the rest is history as they say. So without any more Delay, here he is, ROCKET, and it's more than an appropriate name for him because he's 90mph until he falls asleep.

for God's sake Dave, don't trip over the little missile, Lord knows you cannot afford that....

 

That has been one of the biggest problems with this little guy. He's always under my feet, running around in circles. I keep telling him to stop trying to trip me, or he'll wind up in a foster home. I will say this, for a 3 month old puppy, he's already learned to fetch when we're playing. He will sit perfectly still for a treat, and will speak for a treat also. And as an added bonus, he's a great napping buddy.

He looks like he’ll keep you on your toes. But with those ears, best keep him out of strong winds, else he might be like The Flying Nun. And if you get that reference, your age is showing.

 

so i was out n about and saw a dryin up little wudder hole on the side of the road, so i gathered up my feesch gear, and chunked a piece of roadkill ona hook n caught me uh sammin, filet'd em and damn ifin i didnt grilt-em...
