    I got to see Nickey Hayden not only race, but win big in Monterey, CA (Laguna Seca) when he won the first MotoGP race held in the US in many years. It was July 2005. That was my first ever motorcycle race, and it was awesome.

    That's awesome. I went to a number of races over the years to see him. He was an amazing human in person. He signed my Full Metal Nicky helmet in 2014 at indy. I miss him so much. Went to see his statue in OWB a few years ago and see his gravesite. If my house burned down, that would be the only thing I'd care to grab. It's not replaceable.
