    Helicopter crop dusting mature fields

Helicopter crop dusting is a common practice for applying pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides to various crops, including mature fields.
Why use helicopters for mature fields?
    • Height: When crops are tall and mature, traditional ground rigs may cause damage by knocking over plants. Helicopters can fly above the crop canopy, preventing damage while ensuring thorough coverage.
    • Efficiency: Helicopters are faster than ground rigs and can cover a large area quickly, which is crucial for timely applications to maximize crop health and yield.
    • Maneuverability: Helicopters can access areas that might be challenging for fixed-wing aircraft or ground rigs, such as fields with irregular shapes, uneven terrain, or obstacles like trees or buildings.

There's a small business or two in Boise Idaho that shuttles guests in old school buses up the Payette river along with inner tubes then picks them back up a short ways down the river. I'm sure there's money in that.

Near Bass Lake, CA there's a can am side x side rental business that gives tours or allows guests to explore around Ahwahnee in the pines. The insurance and costs of the side x sides is probably high though.

If real estate were cheaper I'd have short term rentals.

There is a small possibility that it could be cover crops which are harmless, but probably not.

I'll find out what they sprayed and supplement my health accordingly. :fistbump:

Interesting that you should bring that up right now.

Today Mrs Gritto and I drove up to Johnstown to inspect the rental property with a view to needed maintenance, blah blah.

We were coming into the Stony Creek Valley and crossed the bridge.
We saw people on inner tubes and those cheap rental type kayaks passing under the bridge.
We turned right to parallel the creek and several miles downstream the outfitters had a bus at a landing spot to pick them up.

Yeah, there's money in that sort of thing, definitely.
