You don’t wanna own a house on some lake front property, the upkeep is too much with the moisture! It sounds awesome but it’s a nightmare.

Damnit I’m on call all month and just got pinged!

My mom lives on a lake!
But she lives in FL so moisture is always a thing

There are a few added expenses - mainly the dock
And then during that last major hurricane that took the power out for 5 days - the lake was within a foot of the house, so that was close...
Only time water has come in was during some hurricane in 1982

My mummy is on the Fox River in Princeton.

Water can rise with heavy rains. Moisture in the crawl space but it is pretty rare.

And thankfully we aren’t dealing with salt water, thats a whole nother animal. Sea air is just a menace on EVERYTHING.

I’ve been trying a new recipe each week. I’ve narrowed it down to two. I have to decide which one before I head to the store.

 

Get a nice little van, live lakeside to lakeside! Become a mobile camp host in the summer and during the winters go home!

That whole week of east coast messed me up. I was getting up normal over there and staying up late equivalent. It caught up with me on the way home and yesterday. I’m up normal today, will have to see how today goes…
