The "kids are back in school" weather is making me nervous a hurricane is coming.

Checked NOAA this morning. This was the same map they had up on 7/25 though.

You live far enough inland, so it is mostly just entertainment now - nothing to worry about and it ain't like you can do shit about it anyways

    Just be prepared
I am gonna do a check up on my generator after I cut the lawn

Yeah I'm def aware of that.

But all my peeps live in Wilmington, and I worry about them. AND. We can get buckets inland anyways.

Look at AVL. It's crazy, I was thinking over the years, when I retire I'm moving to Asheville and living up on a mountainside, high up, away from flooding and hurricanes.....

Mudslides. Still my heart aches for those peeps in Asheville.

Reminds me of a guy who came up to me on the Huntington Beach pier dressed like that, he put a bracelet on my wrist and asked for a donation.

I gave him $5 and he was angry. LOL

I've documented 2 hurricanes now with my camera, once you see the damage up close, it really changes your outlook.

Still remember the distinct smell after Florence: A mix of BBQ, mold, and campfires. That's what the air smelled like. All that standing water and soaked furniture, cars, houses, wood.
