The truck or the cost of diesel?

 

No the diesel type.. I can’t drive it too the mountains now in the winter. I afraid of jelling up. in Sactown we got “ recycled” diesel and is no good with the winterized stuff in truckee. I burnt up my fuel pump last winter because of that

 

fock!

 

Yea so I would have to drive up on like an empty tank hopefully getting there than spending like 8/gallon in truckee for a 3-4 days

Exactly what I used to run in my powerstroke. Never any issues, below 0, not plugged in.

Smoked like a mf until it started to come up to temp.

Yea I also have problems with my def system.. probably spent -10k on that stupid system

 

It's crazy man. In 2009, the government passed all these much stricter emissions standards on diesel.

I have always wanted a Sprinter camper van. Well after doing a ton of research, I realized why expediters were going for the 2008 and earlier Sprinters, they weren't yet fitted with all the environmental stuff. So they were much more reliable. Sprinters became much less reliable after 2009 model year.

And it looks like Dodge got rid of the diesel Promaster. That thing was getting mid 20s gas mileage.

 

I get about 25mph in mine. When I don’t have a heavy foot.

 

There is a reason why they don’t put the diesel in the Colorado anymore and I learned my lesson
