Yeah, those Tastee Freez chili dogs were the best ever... circa late '60s, early '70s

The roll was kind of an elongated (rectangular) dinner roll, angular and a little chunky.
The hot dog was juicy with a slightly crispy skin.
They didn't skimp on the chili powder either in the meat sauce.

Anybody else remember that?

You have to make them home made...Gravy and Biscuits

 

I remember growing up with chipped beef and gravy as the weekend breakfast... this feels much more convenient.

Nothing like paying the offroad shop to do the work and having the gut feeling to check the job they did.

Yep, we just started it over the weekend. Looks like it has potential, we'll see. Aliens is still by far my favorite of the alien universe.

 

Velveeta is barely cheese
