I was there in July so no Northern lights for me. Would like to see them though. My best friend in high school lived in Juneau, he said it’s something to witness. He’s a pilot and flew medical jets out of Anchorage to Seattle. He said it’s real cool looking from a plane.

I should have. I offered to buy him a drink at the resort's steakhouse.

I was too drunk. I had been drinking since I woke up that day. That was/is my life. Missed out on a lot of things. Too many things.

 

It’s been probably 10 years or so now. But dad and some other officers had a road block set up one night back in some mountains on a WMA.( they where checking permits and maybe hunters) but they saw the norther lights from where they where set up.

 

I've gone several times. It's tough on public land. I gave up.

Also look for the dog under the tree watching and being watched by that bird.
