    I learned something about oaks years ago...here's a story.
    I've planted all the trees in my yard except 2 of them. So, one day when I got off work there was this tiny oak out by my shop. My shop is about 70 yards from my house. I asked my wife 'what's up with the new tiny tree?' Seems a friend of hers planted it out there for me because I kinda like trees. I was like 'I ain't watering that tree cause my hose ain't long enough (haha, I get it) and I'm not buying a new hose. So I'm thinking this tree won't make it 6 months without ole Stock giving it a cold drink of nature's finest. Also, I was told oak trees grow really slow, so I'm thinking it's already got one foot in the grave...that tree, that I've never put one drop of water on, is probably 30ft tall if not taller. It grew really fast.
    Anyhow, boring story, boring day.
