    Still a soft spot in my heart. Was two classes shy of getting a minor in chemistry. Realized I didn't know what the hell I would do with a chemistry minor in real life so I just gave up and decided to graduate with my CE degree and math minor.

    I'm a geochemist, my specialty is mostly carbonates and other inorganics. But it's true, the correctly written formula for trisodium citrate is Na3C6H5O7 .

    Monosodium and Disodium varieties, for an obscure reason, it's actually more correct to write it in the CHNaO format, though the NaCHO is still acceptable.
