Yeah, I unfortunately learned a lot about gsd's after I got one. They have the tendency to be really fucked up. They can be amazing though. If you're patient and do research in how to train and help them they can learn but they can have a lot of serious issues.... I'm trying to socialize mine and train him but it's a battle everyday cause I've never trained a dog in my life....

I've had a very long, hard, stressful and shitty life with someone I thought was my soulmate. Once I left, I saw nothing I loved or even understood why I stayed. I was literally under a spell I swear... wasted 23 years of my life with a conniving, abusive and so many other things psycho soo...I'm kind of a mess lol. But it's slowly getting better, now I'm just dealing with his spawn making great choices...

 

Unfortunately he sounds like a good candidate for euthanasia

 

Just keep working with him, sounds like a lot of typical German shepherds lives unfortunately. I've had some hard times with mine but I don't ever plan on giving up on him. I try to let kids pet hom every chance I get and let him see and smell other animals so he wont ever be aggressive. I'm still learning but I'm trying. I'm constantly doing research on him..

 

I am up every day around 4 AM probably 40 minutes before my alarm goes off each morning. I am exhausted I got out of work took a shower put together a microwave stand somehow struggle with that and then she tells me she’s bringing people over to party. Hey, don’t get me wrong I’ll like a real good get together but what the fuck already. You know I got a lot of shit to do tomorrow. A whole lot and I can’t even find a time to do anything I want to do

I lose sight of things too. And get down about current events. But when I actually stand back for a moment... N look at things in the big picture.... I have a great life compared to where I have been. Yeah things recently didn't go how I hoped. But as a whole. Fuckn eh. Oct2019 shad is so much better off than April 2015 shad... and all the in between.

Sure I have things and loss of people to be sad about... but that doesn't serve me or my purpose. All in all I am very happy with who I am and where I am going rn. (Many thanks to my friends for all the help they have given me)

You need to look at things in the same light. See it as a whole. Sounds like you have had a rough past like myself. But Im now learning not to let the people or circumstances in my past decide who I am or my happiness. Im incharge of it. As are you for your happiness.
