    I love springtime, migratory birds are returning, robins, swallows, meadowlarks. Curious about which birds will occupy the birdhouses.

    Strawberries will be blooming soon, such a treat to walk out the door in the morning and pick a fresh strawberry. The annual battle with snails will begin about the same time. Those pests like to eat whatever fresh shoots come up.

    Ending their bad karma-induced lives I give the garden a good soaking so they expose themselves, then a quick stomp.
