Ever see the Robert Redford movie...All is lost?

 

This is my in laws sailboat, I think around 50’-55’. 2 bed and 2 bath. It’s nice AF. They’re both retired and just sail around the Bahamas, or park it and live in their nice ass condo in FL in the winter. They’re doing it right.

Yep. When you're that good of an actor you don't need lines. But my point was, doesn't it make you nervous that anything can happen and you're out there thousands of miles away from anything. And you can't even get out and walk?

Thats the part I am looking forward to. Being out in the middle of nowhere, just me, hopefully a SO, and the waves.

I have this picture in my mind. Being in the middle of a crossing over the Pacific, middle of the night doing my watch while she is asleep.. clear sky stars galore. And just realizing that I made it come true. And I achieved it.

It may be just a year or so of owning one, and sail around making memories. Seeing sights. And then get back to the world, out in the country somewhere.
