I gave up all the extreme sports type things a long time ago once I grew tired of being a patient with one injury or another. Funny how when we're young we bounce right back like a super ball. At my age if I hit mother earth I'm going to splat like Silly Putty!

I ate mine three hours ago. Bacon and egg breakfast sandwich on a Cheddar/Jalapeno bagel!! Was very satisfying.

Agreed. It's the only thing I do that could do major physical harm, but I try to be safe and keep others around me safe. I also don't do any crazy jumps. Nothing like going down a hill faster than most speed limits. That's a rush.

We'll never go back to Dominican Republic, but we enjoy Mexico and really love Puerto Vallarta. Cabo sucks and we'll never go back, it's a tourist nightmare. PV just feels like a second home to us. The people are not pushy and they're nice. It's a beautiful area and we we're comfortable enough to use uber there on our own to go to and from our hotel to downtown.

Costa Rica is gorgeous and I highly recommend. We stayed at Secrets in Guanacaste which is the north west side of the country and had the most amazing time. We're hoping to return soon as a work trip for @Twizted but we'll definitely go back again after we move.

Absolutely! Only thing is doing it with my safety and others in mind. People are crazy and will randomly ski/board in front of me. It's ridiculous. Pick a line, people!!

I've heard the same about the DR from a lot of people. Mexico is still meh for us but we'd really love to see Costa Rica someday.

That was something that always bothered me while skiing. Water skiing at Lake Havasu is mostly sketchy any more with all the fuckwits out on the water.

I couldn't even imagine trying to avoid people in the water. I usually ski early and during the weekdays when there are much fewer people, but even still it just takes one dumbass to ruin it.

Yeah DR has potential but the country is so dirty (like garbage on the side of the road everywhere), the people and service is pretty rude and lord knows what chemicals they're spraying everywhere on hotel properties to keep mosquitos away. I had to spray myself everywhere we went, day and especially night. It would have been decent to not leave the resort, but where's the fun in that?

Also, most people there are either from Europe or the east coast, so us west coast folks are quite the minority. It's a long ass flight.

The same idiots who think their 4WD means they can drive down an icy road at 60mph cause 4WD are what you find on the lake most days.

I’ve been on many boats living in the south and love moving “quickly” across a glassy bayou or river. We did a bunch of hairy-ballzak skiing in HS. Cypress knees everywhere.
But I once hopped onboard a new roommate’s boat in college. (He turned out to be a dick).
It was all of maybe 17 feet with what looked like a Mercury 200 on it. I’m thinking Cool!
Not cool. That MF’er had a 300 HP under that 200 cowl!! Stopped looking at the speedo when my cheeks started flapping and my eyelids wanted to turn inside out. That was around 80. It was fucking scary and I had no control of the situation.
Up to about 50mph on a boat is fast enough!

Regarding the poll, I hit 70+ MPH on a supercharged Yamaha Waverunner at Deep Creek Lake in MD.

    That was fast.

    That was scary fast.
