    I grew up on a farm.
    We didn't have a well, we had a Spring House.
    Some of you may know what that is.

    Every August, the water would get low.
    That meant 1 bath a week, on Saturday night, in a couple inches of water only.
    Gotta be clean for Sunday church. :)

    I well recall a couple extra dry years when everyone had to bathe in the same water. :mad:
    You read that right.
    Oh, those were the good old days...:rolleyes:

    Mind you, in addition there was always the option to take a sponge bath out of a small basin...
    I preferred a dip in the creek.

    BTW...Farms are dirty places.

    This is so true. We've always been relatively light water users, but being on a well certainly changes your usage. Plus, more water = more electricity usage which is already expensive enough in CA. Don't need to be pumping from our shit producing well for hour long showers.
