Last year we got a good snowfall one night, maybe 8" at my place and my folks got 10" to a foot. I was going through some stuff and wasn't sleeping well, so I decided around 1am to shovel my drive. Finished fairly quickly, ate and remembered how my mom had asked if I could help the next day (so that morning) to shovel the snow. Well I went over there around 3am and proceeded to shovel for about 2 1/2 hours as they have a very large driveway. My dad came out around 5:30am and I said "Where you been? You missed all the fun". First time I'd seen that man speechless in years. He said thank you, we worked on the walkways and I went in for lunch, as I had been up since around 11pm the night before.

Is that not your shitbox in your signature?

I'd suggest buying something like that for "shit hot summer weather".

Or a pretty little thing in a bikini.

    Just sayin.

Ok. I don't like the feel of it on my skin, I don't like that it makes everything outside wet. I deliver product for a living in a truck without a cap and it always gets soaked, no matter how well you pallet wrap it. I hate the sound of windshield wipers, I hate how dark it stays all day, I hate that I can't do much outside if it's raining. I hate that it makes my driveway a mud pit.
Same here. I'm beginning to think I have S.A.D as well.

All very legitimate! Ever thought about relocating somewhere where rain isn't so prevalent?

Lol right. Same here, it would be insane.
Nope, still keeping our options open. That place is also under an HOA so I've emailed to see what their rules are. They have some interesting ones that I've read so far, but most are around preservation and land management which is acceptable. It's where people tell me where to put my garbage can or park that will nix it in a hot second.

Definitely, but it takes $$$ to do that. I have a bunch of medical bills, and my job keeps me in the same area. I would have to find a job opening in a different state, and I would have to start all over again building my business.

I haven't looked at real estate with that much property but that seems like a really low price. Configuration 2bd/3bath is a little odd but if it meets your needs it's all good. Nice that they add regs around preserving the land.

The hood we're in has CC&R's but no active HOA. 98% of the neighbors take care of their yards and places so that's cool.

My sister lived in a place up here where the HOA goon squad would call her at work to tell her that her trash can had not been put away on time or that their garage door was open.
    FUCK
    THAT
    NOISE!!!
