    They said it was all pre existing!
    Homeowners insurance came through for the damages and we have some friends who are general contractors so we caught some breaks along the way. We helped them and did much of the demo and tear out ourselves so saved some money there. Pool guy felt horrible and came out on a Saturday and only charged me for parts so less that $30 I think?

    Yeah. Pretty much what I was thinking. After it happened, he completely replaced all joints and didn’t charge me.
    The previous owners were dipshits who did all maintenance shit as cheaply as possible. I could go on for hours about the shit we’ve found here. Love this house but it has been a ton of work.
