I liked them because they had actual tread on the bottom.

Ive not bought a pair that didn’t. Biggest heartbreak was ruining a newer pair walking the oil stained beach while camping at Jalama Beach.

Hope you like them. My wife discovered them and I quickly bought some. Been wearing them for 10+ years now and have only replaced them once. Have added additional pairs for camping and date nights (I might be weird with shoes/clothes) but they all last a long time.

I can't stand to wear flip flops any more. The piece in between the toes it truly bother some and they always feel like they are going to fly off.

I can’t wear the newer pairs I have until the plate is removed from my foot. The older pairs are good though thankfully.

I have broken all of my toes, not all at once though. All separately, maybe a couple at a time. I have lost count on the smaller ones. Each big toe has been broken a couple of times. Not enough for pins and screws/surgery, but one was enough that I couldn't walk for 3 weeks. If I did, I had to step with left leg and literally drag the right. I was and still am pretty clumsy.

Got distracted during a rainy trail run. Stress fracture of the 1st Metatarsal that refused to heal. Had an osteotomy of the 1st Metatarsal to flatten my foot cause had to in order to promote healing. With foot now flatter, had to adjust position of my foot laterally which resulted in this

Broken toes can eat a dick!

I broke my big toe two weeks before we left for Belize.

I pretty much hate the months that dictate real shoes. I’m happiest while wearing flip flops.

I destroyed my right Great Toe. AKA Giant Hallux. Mountain biking in NM. It was either smash the boulder or launch over the edge....So 10 weeks later...They call it a comminuted fracture. Means dust.
