    Yeah dude it SUCKED!!

Was in a cast and using crutches and a knee walker for almost a year.
Initial injury was 8/12. Plate has been an issue since 2016 so it needs to go ASAP.

I stepped on a pillow running.... the pillow moved perfectly catching my big toe and folding it under my foot/ weight on my left. The pop was so loud the dog cringed. The right. I was at the public pool in the summer. I went to throw the water polo ball at somebody in the pool. Took a small running start and my right foot planted on the painted walk sign. That toe folded under and didn't stop until it reached the arch of the bottom. That pop was loud enough for the life guard to hear across the Olympic sized pool. That one, I walked like Igor for 3 weeks.

Have broken a bone in my wrist 8 times and my thumb 3 times.
One of the thumb breaks was while i was in a full thumb cast for the wrist. Was broken in 3 places..... one in each of the knuckles.
Imagine the drs surprise when he cut the cast off to check the wrist and then seeing a fucked up thumb.

    Crazy shit.

I was standing in our kitchen with my wife. Last thing I remember is saying “I’ll be right back”!

Next memory is waking up on all fours with my left big toe folded under my foot.

Had been feeling rather shitty for a couple of days prior. Thought I had the flu but wasn’t really like the flu.

I honestly don't remember much after the pop except trying to get home before it swelled and I couldn't walk. I had to walk home as I only lived a block away. I got half a block before I had to drag the leg/foot.

I broke the wrist playing baseball originally.... the thumb I did while skateboarding. Fell off and landed directly on the thumb, like pointing into the ground.
I have also had my tip of my thumb stitched back on. Trust me when I say thats a piercing you do not want.
Same story, was in a full thumb cast for the wrist again (indivicular bone). Whet skating, fell off, jammed thumb into the concrete and the 1/4 of the tip was just hanging off my thumb. Again the look of surprise when I show up in the ER with said injury. They stitch me up with one stitch. Directly into the tip and up through about the middle of the thumb nail. After a week and a half I was suppose to go back to have them take the stitch out:jerkoff:. I have removed all my own stitches since I was 16. I took it out with no issue, in another week, the piece the sewn back on just ended up falling off.
:annoyed: basically they stitched it for no reason.

I broke my thumb in a volleyball game and cracked my wrist taking a line drive back to the pitchers mound when I was 14.

I was 15 when I broke my wrist to start. From there I spent every year, fall and spring finals in a full thumb cast. 9th, 10th, and 11th grades, scantrons, you ever try to color in a tiny bubble with a pencil when your thumb and wrist are locked down? Let alone 400 of them

Been a long time. Small little round bone right where the thumb and wrist meet? Then. Yeah. I broke it on the under side.... all the xrays and MRI's (new tech at the time) couldn't see it. My wrist would pop from buttoning up my 501 jeans and swell double in size and could no longer use it or move it. It was a mystery until I broke my thumb in 3 places. I was then able to contort my hand for a good view of the hair line fracture.
