You say that, but whenever I get hurt, people just say "it's okay, you're young." I'm getting mixed messages

    Cool!

Seems those hailstorms come about quickly like that. We get hailstorms during monsoon season a lot.
A few years ago we had a really bad one that destroyed a bunch of new cars at dealerships. Same year a slurry bomber got into trouble after take off and had to dump all slurry right over three dealerships that were most heavily affected by the hailstorm.

Learn something new. I had no idea the airplanes were called slurry bombers.

A few years ago there were some fires nearing Reno and I remember for the longest time you could see the fire retardant line on the hill and on the roof of this particular house off 80. That couldn't have been a fun day but it sure beats your house burning down.

@OneGiraffe , Camping, it's been so long that I've forgotten what it's like. A buddy and me used to go camping(Secret phrase for deer hunting) every year either at Thanksgiving or Christmas. Usually spent 4 days of piece and quite. No Phones, No Kids, No Wife. We just used the excuse of hunting to go camping. But hunting on game land here in N.C. can be quite a challenge. Worst Part is Dick headed people, who walk into your hunting area, stomping around making enough noise to wake the dead. then you have to go to all the trouble of climbing down with your stand, going back to camp and hoping for a better day tomorrow. But yes I miss Camping very much, and I'm going to make it a number 1 priority for this coming fall/winter. I can't shoot a large enough rifle cartridge for deer hunting, but I might try a crossbow in the next year or two.

Yes! You've gotta get out camping again. @Twizted and I probably go every other weekend when the weather is nice. It's a nice reset and recharge...except when assholes are present :angrygirl:. We don't usually come across many folks (other than who is with us), but last year we did have a group nearby that quickly found out they were not in shared company after they decided to shoot off a few rounds at night over the lake. They had thankfully moved on the next morning.

Nope, but I might go tomorrow. Trying to decide where to go. I hear the lakes have been busy with everyone off work and rivers are pretty high with all the rain again this spring around here.

I would probably vote for The Great Escape if it were an option. I need to watch it again. Midway was awesome too. Lots of good ones.

Well Whatevers, I had a great 1.4 mile walk today. They kinda wear me out, but my neurosurgeon tells me that walking is the best medicine for me. So I'm going to go take my night time meds, and take a nap. Crappy part is, that I usually don't sleep more than 2 hours at a time.

That’ll stop after you hit 30

Yeah it sucked for them. One survived but the other dealerships ended up selling out.

It’s what most call them here. Not sure it’s the proper nomenclature but it’s acceptable.
Thing was the plane was going to a fire several miles away. The dealerships were in the flight path and got the worst of it. An RV dealer took a big hit as well as some other businesses. Was crazy to see new cars completely covered in red slurry.

    Looks really good man!
