Yikes, I am sorry to hear. Do they know how long it will take to get her test results back? Thankfully she's young and probably healthy, but having anything even similar to flu or strep is fucking misery. Poor thing.

I would wonder if some areas aren't just testing anyone that comes in even if to confirm if they're a carrier or not, but who knows. That may be far to logical lol. Hopefully the kids get over being sick since I imagine it's incredibly stressful for your sis to have them sick during this time.
Morning, Adam. Any plans for the day?

If we didn't heat our pool we wouldn't swim until June. We started heating earlier last year because all of our kids were coming home. Turned out to be expensive as our gas bill was $606 for the first month that the heater was on. As it got warmer outside, we could turn the heat down and the gas bills reduced down to a reasonable amount. We left the heat on into late October last year also as some friends were visiting. That bill wasn't as bad but still climbed a little over $400. Both months the gas company sent someone out to inspect for leaks because of the drastic increase in use. Thinking we'll call them this year to save them a trip out.

Other than the excitement of looking for a new home I really believe every other aspect of moving, packing etc SUCKS!! Hopefully things will settle down enough that you can finish purging. It will feel really nice when it's done.

From the pictures you guys have posted the property is really nice and doesn't need too much to be ready to go. Nice to have friends willing to help!
The list to sell isn't terrible at 77 days either. Hopefully someone will come along quickly with an offer your both happy with and you can move forward.

So they're testing people without symptoms? How are they deciding who to test?

In Az. we are not testing anyone who isn't showing 2/3 of the symptoms.

Same here!!! lol... I might do what we do every day. Binge on youtube, read a little, play on our phones, continue to daydream about what we wish we were doing.
Thanks, we've certainly done a bit of work on the outside. The previous owners had put a crappy little pond in a corner that we have toyed with fixing or filling over the years. Finally we decided to just fill it which I just finished up last weekend and now I need to get all the rock moved.

Packing and moving does majorly suck and we are trying to be as smart and strategic as we can be. This will obviously be our first out of state move together and it's not like you have the option of leaving stuff back at the house for a second trip. No one wants to make a 2000 mile round trip because we couldn't pack (or downsize) properly.

As for your pool, have you guys looked into one of those retractable solar covers instead? I don't know how pricey they are but it sounds like it would be a hell of a lot cheaper than that gas bill in the long run.

Long distance moves are tough. I moved from S. Ca to Ill and back and then to Az. Always ended up with more shit than I needed/wanted cause didn't want to leave behind and find out later I actually needed something.

Pool is an irregular shape so would have to be custom which is $$$. We knew the first couple years with the pool would be something of an experiment as to use vs. cost so there's that.
