    Sorry that all sounds like a pain in the:duh:
    :( would he be safe to go outside without you home if he had a dog door? Sorry he's having fits. I know you don't want to crate but it worked well for us and actually we didn't crate both our dogs, only 1. The other was like a cat and just chilled curled up in her bed all day vs the other one which decided she'd occasionally like to try digging to China.

    The only exit to the back yard is through the garage through the kitchen, then he’d just get into the garage and tear shit up lol. So crate it is, moving it to the dining room so it’s not on the carpet, I’ll put him in his Thundy and throw a blanket over it, see how it goes!

    Fingers crossed for you! Could always do a door between both doors as well. I wouldn't think he'd trash the garage if he's just using it as a passthrough but you never know. He just needs a bit of time and training and you'll get there.
