    Story time. :)

They told me before my surgery for my inguinal hernia that it was gonna hurt like Hell afterwards.
And I was gonna need some Oxycodone...and maybe some refills.
    They were half right.

Mrs Gritto filled the prescription even though I said no.
    That took the cake.
After all the poking and prodding I had undergone, I was in a rebellious mood.
Ibuprofen and Tylenol was enough for me.

I still have the prescription on my shotshell reloading bench.
    Ten tabs.
I suppose I should pitch it.

    Can confirm.

    WTF?
Oh man, I don't want to do that routine again.

    Yeah.

I guess when you say "Groin Hernias", you mean Inguinal Hernias?

It's like having an extra ball sack hanging down there.
It would be almost gone when I'd get up in the morning.
One good cough (I'm a smoker) and Oopsy!
    It's back.

I’m not much of a fan of pain meds. I tried several for pain relief from arthritis in my hands. All I ever got was side effects and no relief. I was on 400 mg of tramadol daily and no help. Then I started steroid injections about 3 years ago which gave me some pain relief but it only lasted a few months. Now they tell me that the steroids could have contributed to the tendon rupturing...Well Fuck!!

    Damn, that sucks.

Used to be, if my knees bothered me I'd take an aspirin.
Ibuprofen or Advil if it was bad. (I'd switch 'em up so they stayed effective).
    But it's been months now.
My last full time job had me on my feet all day on concrete.

I sympathize with people who have really bad arthritis.
