Story time...

Have any of y’all ever been 12 years old? You don’t always make good decisions when you’re 12.

I remember one summer I was at my friend’s house across the street playing. We were out on his front porch having an orgy with our G.I. Joes and his sister’s Barbies.

It was a really nice day. The sun was shining, the birds were singing and we were having a fine time...until his Rottweiler came up on the porch with a dead poodle in his mouth.

What was worse, was we recognized the poodle as belonging to the nice widow lady, Mrs. Jenkins, who lived two houses down.
I said “Shit! This is bad. They’re gonna take your dog away and put him to sleep for this.”
He said “What am I gonna do? He’s never done anything like this before”

So after a minute of careful thought I said “Okay, here’s the plan. You go put the dog in the backyard and make sure the gate is latched. I’m gonna sneak over, put the poodle on her leash and Mrs. Jenkins will think she just died.”

He thought that was a fine plan too so that’s what we did. Then we went back on the porch like nothing ever happened.
Pretty soon we heard the poor lady scream and we ran over to find her down on her knees, clutching her poodle in her arms and crying uncontrollably.

We consoled her as best we could until she calmed down enough to speak.
“How could anybody be so cruel to do a thing like this?” She asked.
I said “What do you mean? Maybe she just died”
“She did! Three days ago. But some fiend has dug her up and put her on her leash”

I had a grey tabby cat when I was little. We lived on a busy street. Well, one day she got hit by a car. My neighbor took a shovel and moved it’s body out of the road. But he placed it behind the rear tire of my moms car.

I was so upset thinking my mom ran it over.

 

I had it as a chihuahua but that didn't really work
