That was my guess too. Considering they had 4 engines on that plane and lots of spark plugs

No, I have not heard of the Confederate air force until you posted it. Since the world seems hell bent on removing anything with the Confederates of the old south, it may have gone up in value and desirable.
Also I am not huge into aviation. My grandfather was. Worked for Northrop

The Confederate Air Force is now the Commemorative Air Force.

The original engine of a B-29 was the Wright R-3350. That object is indeed a massive electrode spark plug used in aircraft engines, and that design is decades old, but short of comparing it to the spark plugs that is in the actual engine, I couldn't say for sure if that's a real-deal R-3350 spark plug.

It could be a spark plug from the PTU, but I doubt it.

I can ask a friend of mine who is a maintainer or pilot (don't remember which) with the CAF.

That’s cool. I coulda swore I remember seeing the CAF working on her when I visited their hanger at Midland, TX sometime in the 90s. They had massive pans under the engines to catch all the leaking oil. Not 100% sure it was Fifi, but it was definitely a B-29.
