I knew quite a few people who went out doing what they loved most, riding while impaired. That shit don’t mix.

 

Now for the fun. Back in 2016, a person pulled out from a parking lot on a wet day turning left. They never once looked left. I got slowed enough and t boned this Jetta's rear door. Tore a gash in the length with the front axle. I did not come off the bike. No place to swerve since they had parts of three lanes blocked.

It did mess with my plans for the Gambler500 that year.

The 3wheel course here was actually fun. I used my own bike and learned a ton. Given the differences, they had us lock up the brakes, fly the chair, and / or pick a wheel up on the trikes. Freaking good time!

Same when I took the test for my endorsement. Weaving around some cones at 3 MPH in no way proves youre ready for city driving or highway speeds.
