We had two cars with a 10k interval. No issues. My maint sensitive bike is 6k. No issues there either.

The posted UOAa for the Taco are stellar at 10k. I don't know what more to tell ya.

I don't know. Our volvo wagon had a cartridge and it was fine to deal with. The Taco was fine when I did the change at 5k.

In general, I like the less waste, easy viewing of the media, and seeing the construction out in the open. If the filter is coming apart, I want to know for the future. The Fram cardboard debacle is still fresh in my head.

    :D

It kills me because they (were) are so easy to fine. When that happened, Purolator Pure Ones were stocked at a local store for a good price.

Now, it seems to be hit or miss for anything quality. So, I try to order up before I need it. Of course, I forgot about the Mazda.

I use Purolator/Motorcraft on the Mustang, Denso on the Taco, and Wix on the motorcycle.

Given what I can find locally and price versus quality, my preference is K&N on the bike, Mobil1 for the cars, and Toyota for the Taco. Interestingly, WallyWorld had Toyota brand on the shelf the last time that I was there.

Yep. I have no interest in that. For just the price, I could buy a lifetime supply of filters. And, I'm am indifferent between the types. Canister is a bit quicker / easier. Cartridge is less waste / more revealing.
