I was going to say the same thing. Make some new friends and learn about working on the truck.

Roof rack isn't hard to install. I did my SSO rack by myself. And i go through an automated car wash like once or twice a week. No problems.

I have a prinsu and they also work. Anything that sticks out past the windshield doesnt. For example most roof rack lightbars, windshield visors, and OPs roof rack for example. There is usually a roller that will roll up the front of the car and if it gets stuck on that rack or something it wont be good.

Our wash has that. The big roller brush comes up the hood, over the glass, roof, down the back.
That’s great advice about the rack. Can the wash turn that roller off? Most ford explorers have the racks with cross bars on them

The rollers can be programmed to stay up with the push of a button. Its usually used for trucks with open beds.

Speaking of roof racks, I think ford recalled those racks on the explorers because they fall off easily.
