Duratracs are great tires and are surprisingly smooth for an all terrain tire, but you will loose MPGs with these as the 267/75/16 size is at least 32 lbs heavier than stock tires not too mention the adding rolling friction from the aggressive tread.

I've run the Hankook Dynapro MT's as well as the ATm's .

The ATm's are definitely quieter and better in snow but throw rocks like a mother compared to the MT's .

The MT's are without a doubt more badass looking

Not super aggressive looking but I've heard great things about Michelin LTX AT2. Supposed to last forever too

I have Nitto Terra Grapplers and really like them. They have a somewhat aggressive look, although not like a MT, but good looking for an AT.
A little road noise, but not more than any other AT. They are heavier than the stock BF Goodrich Rugged Trails, but I have not noticed much difference in MPGs.
For less road noise (but also less aggressive looking), Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2 is a top tire, and apparently the new BF Goodrich Rugged Terrain (not Rugged Trail) is also a good, quiet tire, and have an aggressive looking sidewall while the tread pattern assures a quiet ride.

OME lift K&N Intake Flowmaster dual exhaust BFG MKII's
I recently put on BFG MK2's with a little more lift and lost 1.5 MPG. I'm happy with that considering they aren't that loud, and are absolute beasts off-road..

Also it helps to calculate it accurately as possible.. One thing to consider is that if you do not recalibrate your speedo to your new tire size, your MPG calculation will be off.
Another factor that may also throw this number off, is when you are at the end of your previous tire use, the actual diameter is smaller, making your mileage appear higher(speedo counts revolutions, not actual distance covered). When you throw brand new tires on that are full diameter, a slight gas mileage dip could possibly be just these factors taking effect. This is more pronounced with mud tires.
    Just my 2 cents..

Hercules TerraTrac A/T is a good, proven tire:

Hercules TerraTrac D/T is a new offering from this company and it looks intriguing:

For info on these and others from Hercules:

I am not a spokesman for the company, but I currently run their M/T on my patrol truck and it is one of the best off-road tires I've ever used.

Honestly my nitto trail grapplers arent loud...they were designed as an aggressive tire but to be quiet...dont really here them until you get up in the 45+ range but the radio easily drowns the out..i personaly dont think they are much louder then my terra grapplers i had...
