    The Toyota OEM
    Purolator Pure One PL10241
Denso First Time Fit 15-1002 (Denso makes Toyota OEM, but this one is made better. Available on Amazon)
These are some good $5 to $7 filters.

If you want to do the 10K Oil Change with Royal Purple 0w-20 use a Mobil 1, Royal Purple, or K&N filter in the $10 to $15 price range.

All of the mentioned filters are very good to great filters.

The Purolator Pure One PL20195 is an upsized filter that I run on mine. I just feel better with a bigger filter with more surface area for filtering.
I run 7500mile Oil Changes, so every little bit helps.

I got a 99 tacoma regular cab. I have 218600 miles on it. Previous owner didn't know whether she used a conventional oil or synthetic. I want to change the oil to a synthetic. Is that good or bad? Will it do more harm than good?

The FRAM Ultra filter is the best filter for synthetic oil changes. It has a stainless steel screen with two layers of synthetic filter media. 15000 mile capacity (highest in the industry) and 99% efficiency tested to ISO 4548-12 test specs. It has steel end caps and has a high flow bypass and silicone antidrainback valve. All for around 8 bucks.:D
