What's a "good price" for a basic 5100 setup?

I've been shopping around to do a super duper basic 2.5" 5100 w/885 and 1.5" AAL. Never looked into lift kits before but now knowing what parts I want, it still seems like prices vary widely for parts. Any recommendations for a newbie? Should I just pay a little extra for coilovers?

Basically I gotta set a budget to save for the kit and it's hard to grasp what is considered a "good deal" for all this type of basic setup because Toytec VS Amazon vs ShockSurplus etc. all tend to vary by a couple hundred dollars.

Want just parts, or want us to build them and ship out assembled shocks? We've got sales running (and unfortunately don't have our 5100 kit listing cleaned up yet), and can get you OTD with a good setup.

Just out of curiosity, what did you budget yourself for parts? Was 5100s in all 4 corners + springs and AAL mini pack all in the cards when you were searching around?

Also, can you share what year, cab size, and whether or not you're 4wd?

    Thanks! I appreciate it.

It's my daily driver and I'd like a lift for cosmetics, don't plan to off-road. I have a 2007 DCLB TRD Sport 4x4. I started looking at spacer lifts like EVERYONE literally does but did enough reading to know that it's probably not ideal for the long run and should spend $500 more to just do it once and do it right.

All the research I did seems to indicate I need to upgrade shocks in all 4 corners for downtravel increase. I use my truck for loading up lumber and firewood so I intend to keep the factory 1" rake.

Basically trying to spend as little as possible (isn't everyone? Lol!) since it's hard to justify the need.

Trying to avoid doing a diff drop or UCAs and make it an afternoon job but I'd ideally like 2.5" up front. I'd probably be OK ride-wise keeping my TRD Sport springs at least for awhile till I can upgrade but from reading online sounds like the most you can get up front with factory springs is more like 1.75".

I was hoping to stay under $1000 for the lift kit. Ideally closer to $800.
