    And no, its not a mic. The temp sensor is behind itthat controls your auto climate control. mic is over head

    You put dimes in those slots to activate the low-end torque. Shh, most people haven't figured that out.

    I always assumed it was the speaker that beeps at you when you open the door before you turn the engine off.

    Then why is it aimed directly at the balls??? Thats not gonna give an accurate reading as that area is more steamy then the rest of the cab....

    What's behind these slots beside steering column?

    Expensive stuff to break/diagnosis and repair after the warranty expires.

    My '90 Z32 had a couple of those. One at head level, one down low. I imagine these trucks have multiple as well. When they fail, the HVAC will do whacky things, including not work well, or work too well.
