When I met my last girlfriend, she had just filed for divorce, and filed separatly from her husband. She claimed thier house, and her kids, was a college student, and had a couple other deductions. She got back 9,500 that year

She made more money than I did that year, and I paid that much, so I assume she would have as well, but I can't say for sure.

The shitty thing is that her ex was expecting to get money back all year, then had to file separatly, and ended up owing about 5k.

Same thing happened to my brother the year he got divorced. Over 100k income, couldnt claim the house or kids cuz his ex did, and so he ended up owing about 6k...

Headers and maybe go ahead on a muffler if I get enough back. I really have no clue how taxes work yet. Only been working for 2 years. Got 350 back last year working part time as a student though. Not expecting much more this year.

We are expecting around 4-6k. I am spending $500 on JBA long tube headers and o2 sims, giving $500 to my wife to spend on whatever she wants to and rest goes towards our debt.

My wife and I file jointly, make 6 figures (finally! Now that school is done!), but don't own our home yet nor have any offspring. Claimed zero, will probably STILL owe.
